Our sales force has over 44 years of combined experience and is ready to serve this expanding market. Don Hilmer, President – Don is a third generation Californian having lived his whole life in the Los Angeles area. He earned Bachelors degrees in both Industrial and Mechanical Engineering and studied for his Master’s in Business Administration. He has traveled extensively working in international sales while making friends and contacts all over the world. Don purchased Crystal Vision in 1987 when it was solely a shrink-wrap business. He has since expanded it to provide our customers with all kinds of flexible plastic packaging. He loves to work hard and play hard. When he is not in the office, he can be found on the golf course, on the tennis courts, on the beach or traveling the globe. He is the father of three and boasts of three amazing grandchildren.
Karl Behrens, Account Executive – A graduate of U.C. Irvine, Karl joined our Crystal Vision team in February, 2011. When not in the office, Karl can be found surfing, reading/writing, running, biking, hiking, taking photographs or eating sushi. His favorite quotation is “I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy.” –Dalai Lama, and his favorite packaging product is “In-stock Polyolefin Rolls”.
Oscar Castaneda, Account Executive – Oscar came to Crystal vision 2005 with a background in sales and customer service. He attended El Camino College and Allied Business Schools. He is spontaneous, upbeat and a real people person. He’s a family man who loves sports and spending time with his kids. Oscar will be happy to answer your questions in English or Spanish, or maybe a little of both.
Esmeralda Griego, Office Manager/Bookkeeper – Esmeralda is a native Californian having spent 25 years working in the accounting field. She came to Crystal Vision in 2003 with strong organizational skills and experience in customs and courier service. Esmeralda loves her family. She speaks Spanish fluently and is happiest at her job when receivables come rolling in.
Receptionist – Our receptionist is your first point of contact with Crystal Vision Packaging Systems. She will promptly take your calls, answer your questions, and direct you to the person who can best fulfill your needs. She is so busy we couldn’t catch her for a photo!
Bernie Johnson, Order Expediter – Bernie is a native Californian and has been with Crystal Vision since 2005. She expedites orders and expertly handles all purchasing. In her spare time, she loves to cook and spend time with her family. She is fluent in French.
Emilio Diaz, Jr, Warehouse Supervisor – Emilio runs a tight ship keeping our warehouse organized and our products shipped in a timely manner. Originally from Valparaiso, Chile where he studied Business, he came to Crystal Vision in 2004. He’s an avid music and soccer fan. Go Santiago Wanderers!!!
Alex Magdaleno, Driver – Alex has been with the company since 2005. He has assisted in Sales and in Warehouse Duties. Primarily he is our go-to guy for pick-ups and deliveries. His forte is timely deliveries “with a smile”. He speaks Spanish fluently, is married, and the proud father of a 7-year-old girl and a newborn baby boy.
Jesus Solis, Warehouse Assistant – Born in L.A., Jesus attended Harbor College before joining Crystal Vision in 2010. He’s a wizard at Video Games, particularly BatMan. On his lunch hour, he will challenge anyone willing to take him on at our company Basketball hoops.
Patricia Hilmer, Human Resource Manager – Patricia hails from New York but was lured to California in 1980 by the President of Crystal Vision Packaging Systems. A former Pan Am Flight Attendant and Art Teacher, she joined Crystal Vision in 2003 to head up Human Resources. She loves working with the team at CVPS. When not in the office, she can be found working in her garden, hiking in the woods, or doing almost anything outdoors. Favorite quotation: “The Law of the Office Jungle…Remain calm and share your bananas”.
Becky Nimoy, Art/Graphics Specialist – Our newest recruit, Becky joined Crystal Vision in September 2011. She attended UCLA earning a B.S. in Art History and a Professional Certificate Masters Equivalent in Interior Design from UCLA Extension’s ARC_ID program. She worked as a freelance draftsman and drafting/Revit tutor for 6 years. In her free time she loves designing wedding invitations, reading while drinking hot chocolate, resting with her 3 cats, and hiking with her husband. They are expecting their first child in April.
